Charles James “Jim” Reno Jr.

Charles James “Jim” Reno Jr., 84, of Frankfort, died December 17, 2022 at IU Health Frankfort Hospital.  He was born on November 19, 1938 in Frankfort to Charles J. Reno Sr. and Helen (Rodocker) Reno.  He married Janice Sparks on June 28, 1958 and she preceded him in death on February 17, 2019.

 Jim was a graduate of Frankfort Senior High School and worked for General Foods and then as a consultant to General Foods, now Kraft.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge – 32nd Scottish Rite, a member of the Lions Club, the Moose Lodge, and was a car enthusiast.

Memorial donations may be made in Jim’s honor to the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 352 W. Clinton Street, Frankfort, IN 46041.

Visitation and Services

A Graveside Service will be held at a later date in Green Lawn Memorial Park.  Clinton County Crematory and Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort are honored to assist the family with arrangements.

Surviving are his Son: Donovan “Don” Reno of Frankfort; 2 Daughters: Deborah (Jeff) Bracken of Frankfort and Francis Pia Vela Cantos (Ernie) of New Jersey; 3 Grandchildren; and 4 Great-Grandchildren.  

Preceded by:

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Joan Fuller.
