Wilma Jean Shelton 84 of Frankfort, Indiana passed away at 10:35 p.m. May 21, 2015 at the Mulberry Health and Retirement Community.  She was born August 11, 1930 in Forest, Indiana to the late Luther Robert & Mary (Finney) Benge.  She married Phil Carlson in 1950 and they later divorced.

Wilma was a 1949 graduate of Frankfort High School. She worked in food service at Purdue University for 13 years and part time at Friendship Village in West Lafayette. She formerly attended the Hillisburg Church of God.

Visitation and Services

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the Goodwin Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 9 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery.

2 Daughters: Nancy Jean Bowen of Frankfort Nadine (Scott) Villars of Frankfort Daughter-in-Law: Ruth Carlson of W. Lafayette 2 Sisters: Erma (Robert) Ryan of Lafayette Georgia (Jewell) Richards of Florida 3 Brothers: Howard (Mabel) Benge of Marion John (Barbara) Benge of Fairborn, OH Charles Vernon (Jackie) Benge of Townville, SC 4 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Phillip Carlson, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
