Waverly O. Bridgman 71, of Frankfort, IN, died at 6:52 p.m. August 6, 2009 at St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital. Born December 7, 1937 in Virginia Beach, Virginia to Waverly & Delores (Napier) Bridgman. He married Delora Scott on May 31, 1957. Mr. Bridgman attended school in Louisville, KY. He lived in Crawfordsville, Michigantown and then Frankfort for the last 24 years. He retired in 1994 and was a 50 year member of the Lafayette Local 274 Laborers and Hod Carriers Union. Mr. Bridgman served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed playing guitar and raising his grandchildren.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2009 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12 Noon prior to the service. Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery.

Wife: Delora Bridgman of Frankfort 3 Daughters: Debra Sue Sexton of Kokomo, Audrey Lucinda Turner of Frankfort and Amy Jo (Husband: Ernest) Snyder of Crawfordsville 1 Son: Waverly O. Bridgman Jr. of Florida 7 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren

    I am so sorry to hear about Waverly, we will so miss him. Even on my bad days if i run into him at the store he could always get a smile out of me . Mom (Mousie) sends her love to you all and we both have you in our prayers. I sure will miss him.
