Virginia L. Scott

Virginia L. Scott 81, Frankfort, IN, died at 3:40 p.m., November 3, 2009 at Witham Memorial Hospital, Lebanon, IN. Born September 19, 1928 in Jamestown, IN to Lawrence & Vonnie (Robbins) Auman. She married Paul V. Scott on April 3, 1947 in Charleston, IL and he preceded her in death on November 3, 2004. Mrs. Scott attended Jamestown High School and was a 1946 graduate of Linden High School. She grew up in Jamestown and moved to Frankfort in 1948. She worked at Peter Paul for 25 years, retiring in 1982. Mrs. Scott was a member of the First Baptist Church, O.E.S. and American Legion Auxiliary.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2009 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12 Noon prior to the service. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, envelopes will be available.

1 Daughter: Paula (Norman) Smith of Frankfort 1 Grandson: Troy (Melissa) Mosson of Roseville, MI 5 Sisters: Bernice Gentry of Lawrence, Jean Edwards of Crawfordsville, Annabelle Jones of Linden, Darlene (Jack) Steele of Ladoga and Shirley Paxton of Ladoga 2 Brothers: Ross Auman of Greenwood and Emery (Pat) Auman of Danville

Preceded in death by her husband and 3 brothers, Marion and Richard Auman and Robert Coffin.
