Victor H. Cleveland 74, of Frankfort, IN, died December 17, 2009 at home. Born: January 15, 1935 in Rogue River, OR, or Curtis Jerry Lorenzo & Lucille Annette (Cook) Cleveland. He married Alice K. Cleveland in Indianapolis on March 28, 1982 and she survives. Victor grew up in southern California and lived in Seattle, WA before moving to Frankfort 20 years ago. He was a graduate of San Bernardino High School, class of 1953 and a graduate of Washington Technical Institute in 1975. He was an industrial engineer and project engineer and worked for Exide from 1991 until they closed. He previously worked for ship yards in Seattle and was a deputy sheriff in Seattle. Victor was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. A member of the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church, he served as elder, deacon and trustee in the church and was active in jail ministry. He was a 20 year member of Full Gospel Businessmen, former member of Rotary and was on the board for Habitat for Humanity.
Visitation and Services
Memorial services will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday, January 10th at the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Tom Jameson will officiate. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the church. A reception will follow the service in fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations may be made to the Victor Cleveland Fund for Missions, c/o the church.
