Theresa Lynne Martin, 62 of rural Frankfort, died November 21, 2023 surround by her family.  She was born November 16, 1961 in Frankfort, Ind. to John & Betty (Harris) Wheeler.  She married John “Skip” Martin on June 25, 1988 in Frankfort and he survives.

Theresa was a 1980 graduate of Frankfort High School and attended Harrison Business College in Lafayette.  She lived the majority of her life in Frankfort except for living in Spring Hill, Florida for 5 years.  She worked as an administrative assistant for the Clinton County Commissioners, retiring in March 2018. Theresa enjoyed her pool days in Florida, loved her family, friends and especially her 2 grandchildren.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral service will begin at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Paul Whitaker will officiate the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Cancer Fund.

Husband: John “Skip” Martin of rural Frankfort, Daughter: Ashlee Moore of rural Frankfort, Son: Kolton (Callie) Martin of Frankfort, Parents: John & Betty Wheeler of Frankfort, Brother: Johnny Wheeler of Frankfort, 2 Grandchildren: Beckham & Quenton Martin

Preceded by:

an aunt, Della Harris.

    Theresa had a contagious smile and laugh that was full of joy. We both had the opportunity to work with Theresa and appreciated her willingness to work hard and serve the community. So very sorry for the loss of her presence in the midst of the family she loved so much. May you all find peace and comfort.

    I am so sorry about the passing of Theresa. Prayers for all of her family and friends. She was great at her job at the courthouse and helped us with our reunion planning.
    Gee- what a smile she had! She loved her family so much! Hold tight to your precious memories.
