Tamera Jo “Tammy” Spencer, 60, of Lafayette, died April 19, 2023 at her home.  She was born November 27, 1962 in Lebanon, Ind. to Kenneth Wethington and in 1969 she was adopted by Sherman & Phyllis (Wethington) McKinney. She married Richard Spencer on December 11, 1982 and he preceded her in death on April 1, 1992.

Tammy was a 1981 graduate of Western Boone High School.  She had lived in Advance for 9 years, Jamestown for 10 years and Frankfort for 41 years.  She was a dry wall finisher for Kraft Drywall and also was painter and did general cleaning.  Tammy enjoyed flowers, gardening, animals, collected owls and Pepsi products and loved spending time with her family.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 4-8 Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery, Jamestown, Ind. Donations may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society, P.O. Box 455, Frankfort, IN 46041.
