Sue C. Clouse

Sue Carol Eavey Clouse 77, a former Frankfort resident, died August 3, 2010 at Milner Health and Retirement Community. Born June 24, 1933 in Cyclone, Indiana in Clinton County to the late Carl & Esther (Colcord) Eavey. She married Dewight Clouse and they divorced. Mrs. Clouse was a graduate of Jefferson Township High School, class of 1953 in Kempton, IN. She had lived in Frankfort and Lebanon before moving to Rossville. She had worked for Dr. Compton as a dental assistant before getting married. She had been a past member of the Tau Phi Lambda Society from 1954-1956 and the Supreme Forest Woodman Circle. She enjoyed her family, giving nick names to all the staff at Milner’s and she will be greatly missed.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, August 9, 2010 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12 Noon until time of service on Monday. Burial will be in Kilmore Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Cancer Fund or the Guardian Angel Hospice, envelopes will be available.

2 Daughters: Tina (Keith) Reed and Lisa (Richard) Everman 4 Sons: Michael (Melinda)Clouse, Charles Clouse, John Clouse and Anthony (Malou) Clouse all of Frankfort 3 Brothers: Robert (Janice) Eavey of Lafayette, Jerry (Marilyn) Eavey of Lebanon and Larry (Barbara) Eavey of Arizona 2 Sisters: Pat Eavey of Lafayette and Jackie Clemens of Lebanon Grandchildren: Dustin Clouse, Tina Clouse, Meagan Shafer and Lauren Shafer and one great granddaughter, Raylen Gosewehr She is also survived by several nieces and nephews including Christy Bray whom she was very close to.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Florance and a brother, Michael.
