I am so sorry about the passing of Russell. I thought the world of him. We got along so well the short time I was his nurse. He holds a special place in my heart. My prayers are with each of you. God bless you.

Our family is so saddened to hear of Russell’s passing, and you are all in our hearts and prayers. We are so grateful that Dad and Russell had their last time together last fall and appreciate that you brought Russ to share Dad’s 90th birthday. Their bond was a deep one, and their smiles that day truly made the party a success. Their time together at the Army Reunion in Indianapolis meant so much to Dad (and to us all), at times you could see the young boys they once were in their faces.

We send our regrets that we cannot be at the service, but will definitely get together with you soon to celebrate Russell’s life and share photos.

May God bless you and give you strength,
    The Bob Sedam Family
Bob, Robert & Cathy Sedam, Larry & Julie Sedam, Linda & Jerry Beasley,

Jean, I’m so sorry I can’t come to Russell’s visitation. I’m aparentley getting Gary’s cold which I’ve taken great pains to avoid; but it has caught me. I’m assuming you now live at Wesley Manor. I’m there 3 days a week for water aerobics. I’ll stop and see you as soon as I’m not contagious. In the mean time, Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, prayers, and blessings, Beth

Jean, I personally have to tell you how sorry I am. I keep coming to this website just to see his picture. I have enjoyed every minute I have spent in the recent years with your family. I can really say that I thought Russell was the greatest and loved to see my dad and him get together. It is as if time had stood still from the first time that they met and they acted as if they were still those young men who fought for our country and kept the same respect for each other throughout the years. I will very much miss his FANTASTIC AND YOUTHFUL personality. I can truly say I loved him so much and I just loved his hugs!. As of now we have not told dad. We know that he would have wanted to come to the funeral and he is not capable of doing that. Instead of flowers, I would like you to put together something for the reunion book and I will pay for it. I will be in touch. (Please Janet, if you don’t hear from me please call me or e-mail me after your grandchild is born and things settle down.) Time goes by so quickly and we have to make some plans to get together.
    Love you
    Linda Beasley
