Robert L. Posey 45 of Frankfort, IN, died at 9:20 p.m. April 1, 2012 at St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital. Born June 20, 1966 in Dayton, Ohio to Grover C. Posey & Joyce (Walters) Posey. He married Julie Cole on October 19, 1985 and she survives. Mr. Posey moved to Frankfort in the early 1980’s and was a 1985 graduate of Frankfort High School. He also attended Ivy Tech in Lafayette. He worked the past 5 years as a HVAC installer at Commercial Air in Lebanon, IN. Prior to there, he worked at Lalas, Witham Memorial Hospital, Marsh and Pizza Hut. He attended Victory Chapel. Mr. Posey enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, hunting and especially his family.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, April 6th from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Cancer Fund.

Wife: Julie Posey of Frankfort Mother: Joyce Posey (Companion Shorty Davis) of Hillsboro, OH Father: Grover C. Posey (Companion Ada Bolden) of Greenville, TN 1 Son: Aarone Posey 2 Daughters: Ashley (Ben) Stingley Andrea Posey all of Frankfort 3 Grandchildren, Harmony, Hayden and Brayden 9 Brothers: Bill (Tracy) Posey, Grover (Kay) Posey, Junior Caudill, Ivis Caudill, Johnny (Tammy) Caudill, Paul Caudill, Roscoe (Sue) Posey, Clayton (Patsy) Posey and Kenneth (Linda) Posey. 5 Sisters: Sarah Blazier, Rosalie Whitt, Jean Smith, Linda Schooley and Janet McPherson Best Friend, Mike Chriswell and several nieces and nephews also survive.

    I was shocked and saddened to hear of Robert’s passing. I worked with him at Witham Hospital. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. I pray that God’s love and strength will comfort you all during this difficult time.

    We met Robert when he worked on our house as part of Lalas Const. We liked him very much. He was such a nice person. We are sorry he is no longer with us. I know a lot of people will miss him. He told us of helping older people wash windows, or any chores they could not do. He was very caring.
