Robert A. Shelley Sr. 91, of Kokomo, Ind., died July 26, 2023 at Wellbrooke of Kokomo.  He was born April 5, 1932 in Ballard, Arkansas to James Thomas & Mary Ann (Connell) Shelley.  He was previously married to Sandra Janet (Russell) Houston and they divorced.

Robert was a graduate of high school in Ash Flat, Arkansas.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.  He had worked at General Motors in Marion, Ind. for 40 years.  Robert was a member of the Peace Valley Pentecostal Church in Arkansas. He enjoyed baseball, basketball.  He loved God, church, family and being outdoors.

Visitation and Services

Private local services will be held. Burial will be in Agnes Church of God Cemetery, Agnes, Arkansas.

Daughters: Janet (Greg) Bartley of Kokomo, Margaret Ann Shelley of Marion, Roberta Jean (Rich Molina of Port Lavaca, Texas, Carlyn Sue (Tom) Haas of Fernley, NV, Sons: James Thomas (Rhonda) Shelley of Elwood, Robert Andrew Shelley of Frankfort, Sisters: Betty Qualls of Missouri, Rosa Haney of Washington, Brother: Bobby Shelley of Arkansas, Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren

his parents, a brother and 8 sisters
