Robert A. Schenck

Robert Arthur Schenck, 85, of Leesburg, Fla., passed on February 25, 2017 in his home in Leesburg.  Born February 17, 1932 in Morristown, Ind., to the late Arthur and Rachel (Kinkead) Schenck.

Robert was a Corporal in the U.S. Army, serving from January 3, 1952-December 18, 1953.

Visitation and Services

Graveside services with Military Rites will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Green Lawn Chapel.

Survived by:

his wife, Janet Schenck of Florida, stepchildren, Deborah (Jim) Crick, Gary (Pam) Rader, sisters, Marjorie, Marthena and Margaret, four grandchildren and various nieces and nephews.

Preceded by:

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Schenck.

    Janet so sorry for your loss. You and Bob had a lot of good years and I am so glad you both found each other. Remember that your mother in law told us she and my Dad dated at one time, what cute memories we have! We were just up to Indiana, so probably can not make it back up so soon, wish I could be there to give a long time friend a hug!!!!

    We mourn the loss of uncle Bob on earth but rejoice in knowing he is with his Heavenly Father. Let the support of family, friends and memories comfort you at this difficult time. We will all be together again.
