Peggy Jo Moore

Peggy Jo Moore 85, of Frankfort, died at 8:34 a.m. Saturday October 31, 2015 at home.  Born July 26, 1930 in Forest, Indiana to Clarence Albert & Mary Ann (Sanders) Eli.  She married Marvin Moore and he preceded her in death in 1996. A lifelong Clinton County resident, she had lived in Forest, Michigantown and Colfax.  She was owner/operator of Peggy’s Restaurant. Peggy liked to fish and enjoyed spending time at the Paul Phillippe Resource Center.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Goodwin Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Paul Phillippe Resource Center.

Survived by:

Daughter: Sheila Beard of Frankfort, Son: Marvin Prickett of Frankfort, 3 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and 11 Great Great Grandchildren.

Preceded by:

a son, Michael Prickett in 2005, 2 sisters, Laura Sheets and Priscilla Jervis and a brother, Clarence Aaron Eli.

    Grandma Sheila and Uncle Marvin,
    I’m so sorry. Grandma Peggy was an amazing, strong, loving, and funny woman. She will be deeply missed. She was always good for a laugh and underwear for Christmas. Haha. Love you guys. 🙂
