Morris G. Ramsey

Morris G. Ramsey 96 of Indianapolis, IN died at 8:55 p.m., November 6, 2010 at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Born October 8, 1914 in Clinton County, IN to the late Ross & Leota (Gaylor) Ramsey. He married Ruby Wells in Darlington, IN on December 24, 1934 and she preceded him in death on April 4, 1981. He then married Ilene (Linvill) Roberts on January 2, 1982 in Marion, IN and she survives. Mr. Ramsey received his BS degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University and worked for the Indiana and Michigan Electric Company in Marion, IN for 45 years. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during WWII and spent 30 years in the Army Reserve following WWII. His memberships include; Faith Presbyterian Church in Seminole, FL, American Legion, Grand Lodge of Indiana, Reserve Officers Association and ISEE.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Bunnell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer’s Association, envelopes will be available.

Wife: D. Ilene Ramsey of Indianapolis 2 Sons: Phil (Pam) Ramsey of Frankfort and Thomas R. (Susan) Ramsey of Indianapolis 6 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Ramsey.
