Melba L. Miller

Melba L. Miller 76, of Frankfort, IN, died 3:55 p.m. November 5, 2013 at Riverview Hospital, Noblesville, IN, following a brief illness. Born February 23, 1937 in Clinton County to the late Mack Rimmer & Grace (Edmonds) King. She married Robert Miller in Frankfort and June 26, 1982 and he preceded her in death on April 11, 1998. Mrs. Miller attended Frankfort High School and was a lifelong Clinton County resident. She was a self-employed seamstress at Kings Alterations, then, King & I Alternation. Melba was a member of the Woodside Christian Church and The Eagles Lodge Auxiliary. She enjoyed camping, sewing and for family weddings, she would make floral arrangements and often times the wedding cake.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Shan Sheridan officiating. Family and friends may visit from 4-7 p.m. Friday, November 8th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.

Survived by:

Daughter: Myra (Dave) Rounds of Frankfort, Sister: Fairy Hackerd of Camden, Brother: Jim (Ann) Rimmer of Peru, 4 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded by:

She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Rimmer.
