Max “Tot” Sellars

Max F. “Tot” Sellars 80, died early Monday morning, January 23, 2012 at Wesley Manor in Frankfort. He was born November 12, 1931 to Max P. and Alice Kathryn (Fraker) Sellars in Forest, IN. He was a 1949 graduate of Forest High School and attended Purdue University and Indiana Business College. He lived in Forest most of his life and was a lifelong member and active in the Forest United Methodist Church. Max served in the army artillery and was employed as a laboratory technician at Libby’s in Kokomo. He also worked in the office of Sellars Grain Co. in Forest and as a farm manager.

Visitation and Services

Friends are invited to a reception honoring Max’s life Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 1-3 p.m. at Wesley Manor’s Lee Lounge, 1555 N. Main St., Frankfort. Memorial donations may be made to Wesley Manor’s Good Samaritan Fund. Family burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, near Forest, IN

He is survived by his sisters, Sue (Ralph) Mitchell of Frankfort and Nancy (Milton) Lukins of Louisville, KY.  Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Milton Lukins Jr., Thomas Lukins and Sara Zucker of Louisville, Kathryn Peterson of Flagstaff, AZ, Phil Davis of Lake Zurich, IL, Jay Davis of Michigantown, Steve Davis of Frankfort and Suzanne Davis of Pensacola, FL.

    Sorry to hear about Tot. I remember MYF parties at Tot’s house in the late 40’s…Tot usually had a droll dry comment to make that would make us laugh…Max and Katy always made us feel welcome. Our condolences to all the family.
