Mary Lou Curtis 83, of Frankfort, died at 8 a.m. July 14, 2012 at her home. Born September 20, 1928 in Frankfort, IN to the late Beryl & Bessie (Spray) Widener. She married Robert Curtis on July 2, 1966 in Birdstown, TN and he survives. Mrs. Curtis was a graduate of Frankfort High School and a lifelong Frankfort resident. A homemaker, she owned and operated several restaurants. She enjoyed the opera; loved gardening, especially flowers and flower arranging and she loved animals.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Mary Lou requests that friends and family come in casual dress. Final resting place will be Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society.

Husband: Robert Curtis of Frankfort 2 Sister-in-Laws: Betty McComas of Charleston, IL and Judith (Roger) Easton of Charleston, IL 2 Brother-in-Laws: William (Laverne) Curtis of Oakwood, IL and Rono (Imogene) Curtis of Tuttle, OK Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a half sister.
