Mary Ellen Walker, 60, of rural Frankfort, died August 17, 2021 at I.U. Health Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born November 13, 1960 in Clinton County to George W. & Dorothy A. (Ostroski) Koppelmann. Her marriage of 39 years was to Max E. Walker on September 12, 1981 and he survives.
Mary Ellen was a 1979 graduate of Clinton Central High School. She was owner with her husband of Max Repair & Service, worked at Frankfort Hospital 1979-1990 and worked at Emerson for 13 years. She was a member of the Manson Congregational Church. She enjoyed working in the yard, boating with friends, music and loved her grandchildren.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 12:30-2:30 p.m. Monday, August 23, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral service will begin at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park.

She is survived by her husband: Max E. Walker of rural Frankfort, 2 sons: Shawn (Whitney) Walker of W. Lafayette and Ryan (Kayleigh) Walker of Frankfort, daughter: Alisha (Damon) LaPorte of Concord, NC, sisters-in-law: Debra Koppelmann of Kirklin and Becky Robbins of Frankfort, 2 brothers: George W. Koppelmann of Monticello and Kenneth K. (Melissa) Koppelmann of Frankfort, 4 grandchildren, Gracie, Roeman, Keafer, Nash and Ellie Jo, who is due in October.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard David Koppelmann, father-in-law, Davaun Walker, mother-in-law, Marilou Walker, brothers-in-law, Paul Robbins and Rex Walker, and sister-in-law, Donna Koppelmann.
