Mary E. Marsh

Mary E. Marsh, 98, of Frankfort, died September 23, 2021 at Wesley Manor.  She was born April 17, 1923 in Effingham, Illinois to Ray Norris & Florence (Davis) Heise.  She married Joseph L. Marsh and he preceded her in death in 1976.

Mary attended school in Effingham, Ill.  She was a homemaker and had worked at the Frankfort Hotel and Main Hotel, Star Café, Rose Haven Motel. Mary enjoyed flowers, puzzles, her coffee and a roll and she loved animals.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Monday, September 27, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral service be 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Clinton County Humane Society, P.O. Box 455, Frankfort, IN 46041.

3 Daughters: Sandra Crane of Phoenix, AZ, Joan Wolfe of Myrtle Beach, SC, Deb (Homer) Abbott of Frankfort, IN, Son: Carl (Amy) Marsh of Lafayette, 19 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jim Marsh, brother, Leonard Norris, sister, Florence Heise, granddaughter, Shannon Reynolds, 2 sons-in-law, Chuck Crane and Rich Wolfe and 2 grandsons, Daniel Abbott and Tommy Crane.

    I will always remember how hard your Mom worked. Joan and I often stopped in the Whistle Stop to see her. She was always gentle and kind to me. I am sure you kids will miss her.
