Marion R. Lamm 89 of Frankfort, IN, died at 12:15 p.m. April 26, 2011 at Clinton House Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born September 26, 1921 at Alexandria, IN to Hiram & Elizabeth (Folasong) Lamm. He married Barbara Jean Henderson on July 21, 1943 in Frankfort and she preceded him in death on June 19, 2009. Mr. Lamm attended Frankfort High School and was a lifelong Frankfort resident. He was a production supervisor and machine operator for Indiana Brass for 45 years, retiring in 1991. A veteran of the U.S. Army he served during WWII in the 51st Infantry. Mr. Lamm was a lifetime member of the Eagles Lodge and was a member of the VFW.
Visitation and Services
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday April 29, 2011 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park.

I am so sorry for your loss. Although I did not know Mr. Lamm personally I do know that losing a parent or grandparent means that part of the history of a family was lost. When my grandfather died I found this bible passage comforting. I hope it comforts you as well: “The hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life.”-John 5:28, 29
