Gene, you certainly have my prayers and sympathy, in the loss of Linda. She was a good friend and classmate of mine at Vevay High School and we graduated together in 1957. I have been privileged to know you as well. I was able to enjoy some fun times with Linda in Fort Myers, FL, when we were both down there at our winter homes. I will miss her as well. I know you’ll miss her dearly and I wish you the best in your continued journey through this life. God Bless You!

Gene, you are in our thoughts and prayers every passing day. Linda had so much spunk and we know that she fought hard. We loved and admired her and we will miss her smile and conversation. Dena, who is with us as I write this, will miss her infectious laugh and great sense of humor. Linda was a very thoughtful hostess. Her breakfasts were just wonderful! She believed in the power and ability of women and was a strong leader for the Florida HOA. She believed that taking a little risk in life was OK. Gene, we will always remember the trip we took to Europe together. Linda and I sat tightly in the back of the car with two suitcases between us! She was a great traveling companion.
Gene, we pray that you are comforted by your faith and the memories you have of Linda.
All our love, Rona and Carl

Gene. You have many memories of you and Linda’s life together, but it still is a very sad time when you lose your mate. My thoughts go out to you. Always enjoyed the times we shared at dinner etc. fondly Jan

    Gene
Scott and I are so very sorry for your loss. Linda was a bubbly person with so much energy and we will always remember her giggle. She was the best member on our board of directors. Always had a positive view. Always was willing to help with whatever needed to be done. She will be missed by all of us down here in Fort Myers. Please know that you and your family are in our prayers. Our wish is that you can someday come back to Bermuda Club and get together with all the people here who truly loved Linda and you.

Linda was my dearest friend. She always enjoyed introducing me to her many new friends, saying,” We have been friends since first grade.” I will always keep her happy spirit close in my heart, because that always made my life so much better! I am grateful to have shared my life with Linda. My thoughts and prayers are with you Gene, as well as the family.

We loved Aunt Linda! We were so blessed to have her in our lives. She had an infectious smile and laugh. She could brighten up any room. We will miss her and think of her often. Because of her strong faith, we are comforted that she is now with her Lord. We will miss her and our thoughts and prayers are with you Uncle Gene.

I was one of Linda’s neighbors for almost three decades and thoroughly enjoyed our Thursday night movies together for over thirteen years! But I did not know of her illness until her last week on this earth. I imagine she didn’t want any sympathy so she hid her illness very well. A very strong lady who we all will surely miss, and I offer my sympathy to Gene and her family.

Linda and I have been friends for 81 years. We were in Cradle Roll together at Switzerland Baptist Church and remained friends the rest of our lives. Linda was a happy spirit who made the most mundane of circumstances humorous. We were both part of the Swiss Miss quintet in high and sang all over southern Indiana, northern Kentucky and were on Cincinnati TV. We had a fabulous time and became fast friends. I will always miss Linda as it is rare to have a friend whom you can say was a friend for 81 years. We shared a lifetime of memories and a lifetime of fun. Gene, you are in our prayers as you deal with Linda’s passing but I know she is with God and in good hands. I am sure she is making heaven a happier place. God needs a happy spirit in Heaven, so he choose Linda.
