I would like to offer my most sincere condolences to the Roberts family. Mrs. Roberts taught my freshman and sophmore math classes at Gavit H.S. back in the 70’s. She was a wonderful teacher, and I do remember her love of travel. Every now and then we got a break from math for a day and got to watch slides from her world travels! May she rest in peace.

Facebook Twitter GoogleMy sympathy to the Roberts family. Lenny was so happy about family news. In Chapter CE we heard about the grand children’s progress in life … the joy when daughter-in-law became a P.E.O. Always her son was so important to her. She and Harry were part of a Foreign Relations discussion group which was always interesting to attend. They had many interests and many friend. They are missed here in Munster.

Facebook Twitter GoogleDear Gerald Roberts Family,
Lenny, as I came to call her, was one of the sweetest persons I ever had the pleasure of meeting let alone working with. Always positive, always smiling, and always generous. Lenny made teaching at Gavit a little more bearable daily. She had great stories about travel, and meeting others. When you were feeling down, she had those soothing words of encouragement. My wife & I will always remember Lenora, and my two boys will remember those special Halloween treats ** Lenny’s delicious and famous POPCORN balls.
God bless your family during this time of sorrow. And may we all pray for more people like Lenora to populate this troubled world.
Richard & Suzanne Willis

Facebook Twitter GoogleMrs. Roberts taught our sons at Gavit and was an exceptional teacher and lady. Our heartfelt condolences to her family. I would run into her sometimes at Kiwanis functions as Harry was an active Kiwanian for many years before he passed away. They were both good people and will be missed.
