I’m so glad I got to clean for this beautiful and lovely lady. She would tell me so many stories about all of her precious stuff everything she had she had a story behind it, then next week she would have different stuff and tell me the stories behind them. Love her smile and everything about her. I’m truly going to miss her.

During my time at Wesley Manor, I have so many fond memories of Katrina and especially her love for light houses and her quilt making. Even though I didn’t know a stitch about sewing , Katrina always gave me the encouragement that I could do anything if I put my mind to it and I will always see that infectious laughter & smile she always wore and she was a soul that will be greatly lost! RIP Beautiful

I will miss Katrina greatly. She was fun, funny, kind and generous. Whether it was Christmas dinner with my family or doctor appointments or shopping or just lunch, it was time spent laughing and enjoying each other and the day’s outing. Everyone who met Katrina loved her. She will be missed.

Katrina was my neighbor in Washington, North Carolina. She was such a beautiful person, so energetic and full of life. She used to walk all the time and tried to teach me how to quilt. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the extraordinary talent that she did, but she was gracious and kind. Her quilts were works of art. She loved her husband Gary so much and was devastated by his passing. And by then, her own health was compromised by a surgeon who made serious mistakes. And yet, Katrina was not bitter, but instead kept looking forward and remained kind and caring. I heard so many stories about Katrina’s parents, and how she loved and respected them. I think she felt closer to them at Wesley Manor and I know she was well loved and cared for there. I’m so glad she had her dear friend Sharon Gilbert with her there. What a gift from God. I will miss Katrina dearly. The world was a better place with her in it!
