Karla (Thomas) Emery 66, a former Frankfort resident and currently a resident of W. Lafayette, IN, died at 10:35 a.m. August 29, 2011 at I.U. Health, Lafayette, IN. Born December 30, 1944 in Aschersleben, Germany to Carl Rodemacher & Gertrude “Trudy” (Thomas) Scott. In August of 1970 she married Fred L. Emery in Frankfort, IN. Karla attended school in Germany. She worked at Uni Electric and Wal-Mart. She loved to crochet and especially loved her grandchildren. She was proud to be a citizen of the United States of America.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Cancer Fund.

Daughter: Tammy (Chris) Beaver of West Lafayette 2 Brothers: Greg (Carol) Scott of Frankfort and Bill (Joyce) Scott of Frankfort 1 Sister: Judy Coffman of Frankfort 2 Grandchildren: Adam & Sarah Beaver 2 Nephews: Wayne Coffman and Shane (Amy) Coffman both of Frankfort

She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Rodemacher, mother, Trudy Scott, and step father, Harold Scott Jr.

    Remember working w/ Karla, Judy & Harold at Unilectric those many years ago. You all have my prayers and sympathy at the lost of Karla. She was a great lady.

    My mother Katherine Montgomery worked with her at Unilectric and my father worked with Fred. I now work with Fred at Frito Lay. You have all my sympathy and prayers for the loss of Karla
