Joel E. “Joe” Catron 47 of rural Frankfort, IN, died October 29, 2010 at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Born December 20, 1962 in Frankfort, IN to Harold J. & Alma “Dolores” (Vance) Catron. Joe was in the Frankfort High School class of 1981. He was a pipefitter for Brownlee & Hayes Contractors.

Visitation and Services

Family services will be Monday, November 1, 2010 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Hoosier Burn Camp, P.O. Box 695, Dayton, IN 46941.

Mother: Dolores Eads of Frankfort Daughter: Alicia (Bryce) Rogers of Beaufort, SC Son: Joel H. Catron of Frankfort Brother: Robert H. Catron of Frankfort 2 Sisters: Joni G. (Fred) Brown of Noblesville and Rhonda S. (Jerry) Faucett of Frankfort 3 Grandchildren: Logan, Sidney and Lillian 2 Special Nieces, who were his caregivers: Jessica (Waylan) Bessler and Dee (Mathew) McDaniel

    I am sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. I went to school with Joe from Grade School to High School and always enjoyed his company. You are all in our prayers.

    My prayers are with you! I met Joel many years ago. I to worked at Brownlee and Hayes, and Joel was one of the first guys I met there, Joel was a great co worker and he was a great pipe fitter! I am so sorry for your loss.

    Rhonda- My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Joe went through so much, but truly was fortunate to have such extensive loving care throughout his days after the accident. A sister’s love was always obvious. Now Joe can receive blessings without the pain and I am confident this will console you to some extent. My condolences.
