Jean Redington

Jean Redington 98, a longtime Frankfort resident, died at 5:30 a.m. on March 14, 2013 at Milner Community Health Care in Rossville, IN. Born December 11, 1914 in Vandergrift, Penn to Walter & Minnie (McFarland) Chapman. She married Richard S. Redington on November 16, 1933 in Danville, IL and he preceded her in death on March 6, 1971. Mrs. Redington attended Frankfort Schools. She had previously lived in Cambria, Lafayette, St. Louis, MO and New York, NY. A homemaker, she also worked at P.R. Mallory Controls, retiring in December of 1979. Mrs. Redington was of the Christian Faith.

Visitation and Services

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12 Noon until time of service at the funeral home. Family burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations may be made to the Guardian Angel Hospice.

3 Sons: Jerry A. (Mary) Redington of Greencastle, IN, David E. (Sandie) Redington of Frankfort, Alan C. (Pachia) Redington of Frankfort, Daughter-in-Law: Hope Reddington of Frankfort, 15 Grandchildren, several Great Grandchildren and several Great Great Grandchildren

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Richard A. Reddington, 3 great great grandchildren, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
