For Annette and Gary—thank you. For many years you have shared your mom with me and it has been quite a trip. Mama J treated me like her own and I always felt like family. I am sad to lose the Mama J that I knew, but not sorry to see the woman in Mama J’s clothes take her flight. Again, thank you, Annette and Gary for letting me part of the family and allowing me to embrace one of the greatest ladies I have ever met.

Annette and family, my heart is with you at this time of loss. Pat Smith used to take me to to your mom to get my haircut when I was just a kid. She was a lovely lady who loved the Lord. She will be missed.
