I just talked to Slim Jim a short time ago. When Frank called & told me, I just about wrecked the truck. One of the truly Good Guys. I`m really going to miss him. Every time in the future that I`m on the water, a small smile will come across my face & a twinkle in my eye, thinking of Jimmy.

Jim was a great friend and father-in-law. I truly admire the way he made it through his many losses. He was such a blessing to his own family, the Gates, and Sharpes, as well. He will be greatly missed. RIP, Jim!

I missed Cousin Jim by not being able to attend my Mother’s 96th B.day party. He signed her card that she was like a 2nd Mother to him as Cousin Jim was growing up. His Mother Elizabeth was a sister to my Dad. Mom & Dad made sure Cousin Jim always had lunch money when he was in school. He always had a twinkle in his eyes & smile when ever we met. Though our lives were in different directions we were family and would pickup right where we left off as time mattered not to family. I never heard a wrong word from my Cousin Jim, he was pleasant and kind hearted. Hugs and a kiss on the check my dear Cousin Jim. May the day come that we great each other the same & I see that twinkle and warm wonderful smile as you & I wave across the family. I believe you are in my future due to Heaven was your destination from this life. I will remember our last wave, hug, kiss on the check and your warm twinkling smiling eyes, until we meet across that river.
