James Edwin Isenhower

Jim Isenhower, 70, of Frankfort died in his home August 4, 2023 surrounded by his family after a long fight of pancreatic cancer.  He was born August 10, 1952.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Aldine Kay Isenhower, two sons, Kelley (Jocelyn) Isenhower and Kelsey (Missy) Isenhower, four grandchildren, Kendall , Presley, Alex and Emily, and two great-grandchildren, Amelia and Weston.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Chet and Ruth Isenhower, and two brothers Raymond Isenhower and Bill Isenhower.

In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to be made to the Clinton County Cancer Society.

Visitation and Services

A Celebration of Jim's life will begin at 5 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2023 at the Eagles Lodge of Frankfort, 408 N. Main St.

    Jim was such a great guy!!! I will treasure the cross he made for me forever!!! I’m sorry I work Friday evening but my thoughts and prayers are with you all, as we all loved Jim!! Love you Kay!!!

    So sorry for such a tremendous loss. Jim was a rare soul with such kindness and friendliness. I will always cherish the fun times we shared with both of you. You always made us feel so welcome at your house, and it was such a fun place to be. I pray that God comfort your family in the coming days that he will always lift you up on your darkest days.     Jim was the absolute best person I have ever met. Such a great guy, and what a fighter! Tonight at his celebration I cried for the first time in awhile, I cried a lot…He will be so missed…

    Jim was my brother in law! Was a very good one too! Loved that man! He was a good husband to my sister! He was one of a kind for sure! Always sweet to our family! I will miss his sweet face and kind heart! Very talented too I might add! Rest in peace my brother!
