Jack Adrian Taylor, 85 of Frankfort, IN, died on January 21, 2010 at his home. Born August 2, 1924 in Newburg, IN, to John William & Minnie Ann (Risley) Taylor.He was married to Loraine Cutsinger from 1951 to 1953. He was married to Shirley A. Taylor from 1964 to 1990. Jack Adrian Taylor was a graduate of Evansville Bosse High School. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps from March 1943 to November 1945, he served during WWII in the Pacific. Mr. Taylor had lived in Evansville, IN, Chula Vista, CA, Indianapolis, IN and since 1978 in Frankfort, IN. Mr. Taylor was a former part owner and founder of Armcore Railroad Contractors, retiring in 1988. He was of the Baptist faith, a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine since 1960 and formerly a member of the Moose, Elks and Frankfort Country Club. As a life member of the VFW, he worked diligently to reunite his fellow Marines for annual retreats

Visitation and Services

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown, IN. Memorial donations may be made to the Veterans of Foreign War (VFW).

He is survived by four daughters, Lynda (husband,Truman Congleton) of Beattyville, KY; Jacquelyn Ann Taylor Wheeler, Indianapolis, IN; Susan (husband, Todd Snyder) of Kirklin, IN; and Jennifer (husband, James Rider) of Kirksville, MO, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
