Hubert H. Spears 83 of Frankfort, IN, died at 5 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2011 at his home. Born June 27, 1928 in Cumberland County, KY, the last surviving child of Al & Alice (Long) Spears. His first marriage was to Alta Coop. He then married Emogene Randolph in 1965 and she preceded him in death on February 17, 2010. Mr. Spears retired in 1990 from Hinshaw Roofing, working there over 27 years. He was a member of the Roofers Local 119 in Indianapolis. Mr. Spears attended the Victory Chapel Church in Frankfort.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Victory Chapel Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 24th from 5-7 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society.

Daughter: Patricia Linscott of Frankfort 2 Sons: Howard H. Spears of Frankfort and Paul Hubert (Judy) Spears of Frankfort Step Daughter: Belinda Davis of Kansas 3 Step Sons: Bill (Linda) Coop of Frankfort, Robert Spears of Tennessee and Roger (Judy) Linscott of Frankfort 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by a son, Phillip & three daughters, Dorothy, Ella and Stella.

    To Hubert’s Family, my condolence’s to all in this time of sorrow, if you do not remember me I was Stanley Spears first wife and Stanley and I had a child Tana (Spears) Austin. Hubert will be missed by all and know my thoughts are with you at this time. sorry I can’t come but I live in Mississippi and couldn’t make it. Again, so very sorry for your loss.
