Helen A. McKinsey 96, of Frankfort, IN, died at 8:40 a.m. June 11, 2011 at Wesley Manor, where she had lived for over 10 years. Born February 1, 1915 in Frankfort, IN t the late Myron & Cora A. (Elgin) Pletch. She married Harold McKinsey on September 29, 1940 and he preceded her in death on October 24, 1991. Mrs. McKinsey was a graduate of Jackson Township High School. She worked side by side with her husband Harold in his public accounting business for over 25 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the JOF Bridge Club. She was involved in the Lincoln School PTA and exhibited at the County Fair for several years, winning the sweepstakes championship twice.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Wesley Manor’s Harmony Hall. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Cancer Fund or the First Christian Church.

Daughter: Dixie Irwin of Indianapolis, IN 4 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren

Preceded by:

She was preceded in death by her husband, and 2 brothers, Frank and Harry Pletch.
