Gary W. Gant Sr. 56, of Frankfort, IN, died at 3:25 a.m. January 3, 2013 at I.U. Health, Lafayette, IN. Born March 15, 1956 in Frankfort, IN to Phil Parsons Sr. and Doris Ann (Gant) Parsons. Mr. Gant attended Frankfort schools and was a lifelong Frankfort resident. He worked at General Battery and Exide Battery for over 20 years, until they closed. Gary enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Visitation and Services

No services are planned. Memorial donations may be made to the family to help with final expenses.

Companion: Lonna Shepard of Frankfort Son: Gary (Carla) Gant Jr. of Frankfort Father: Phil Parsons Sr. of Frankfort 2 Sisters: Gail (Les) Hendren and Annette Parsons both of Frankfort 1 Brother: Phil Parsons Jr. of Frankfort 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and 3 nieces and nephews also survive.

    Dear Family,
    Losing a loved one can leave you feeling sad and numb. As the days progress the numbness fades but the sadness still remains. When you are being comforted by your pleasant memories of Gary contemplate how these treasured memories can help you cope with your sadness.     To the family I’m sorry for your loss. Gary was a good friend that I will never forget my thoughts and prayers are with you all. He was a good man that will be missed by lots of people, I’m very sorry.

    Sorry for your loss. Joan sent time for memorial service to us however we will not be able to come. Bob Tidd Jr. did stop by but was to early and could not stay because he had to work. Again sorry and our prayers are with you all.
