Garlin F. Brown 64, former Frankfort resident, died December 9, 2010 in Sun City, CA. Born June 14, 1946 in Bedford, IN to the late Harold & Margaret (Elliott) Brown. He was formerly married to Nancy C. (Lovell) Brown. Mr. Brown was a 1965 graduate of Simi Valley High School, in California. He worked in maintenance at Frito Lay, Rockwell and Federal Mogul. A veteran of the U. S. Navy, he served in Vietnam. He enjoyed classic cars, NASCAR, hunting, spending time with his friend, family, children and grandchildren. He was very motivational and patriotic, never met a stranger and was proud to be a veteran.
Visitation and Services
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, December 17th from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial with military rites will be 3 p.m. in Erie Cemetery, Bedford, IN.
