Frederick E. Schweinsberg 70, of Frankfort, IN, died at 6:49 p.m. November 14, 2010 at Clarian Arnett Hospital, Lafayette, IN. Born November 9, 1940 in Morris, IL to the late Frederick & Elaine (Peake) Schweinsberg. He married Melba S. Phillips and she preceded him in death in October of 1987. Mr. Schweinsberg was born and raised in Illinois until age 9. He then lived in the Hammond area until 1987 before moving to Clinton County. A veteran of the Marine Corp, he served from 1959-1963. He was a Merchant Marine in the Great Lakes for 34 years. Mr. Schweinsberg enjoyed fishing.

Visitation and Services

No services are planned. Cremation will take place and entombment will be in Green Lawn Mausoleum.

Son: Michel Schweinsberg of Lafayette 3 brothers and 1 sister also survive

Preceded by:

He was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and his wife.
