Erma was one of the greatest ladies I’ve ever known. I have many fond memories of having coffee with her in the kitchen of the house when I was at the Red Barn…and of course the martini’s on the porch!! May she rest in peace.

Facebook Twitter GoogleThere are few people who can live such a life full of grace, dignity, compassion and humor. Erma was one of those very few–and those of us who had our lives shaped by her are all the richer because we knew her. As a young man and hired hand on the Maish Farm and for many years since then, I shared many a meal, many a story, and many wonderful moments in the presence of Joe and Erma. She was ever-so proud of her sons, their wives and children; so very devoted to Joe; and a true blessing to this Earth.
