Edwin S. “Eddie” Evans 49, died September 29, 2012 at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Ed was born April 21, 1963 at Noblesville, Indiana, to Gerald and Awilda (Wallace) Evans. He married Sandra Barker November 23, 2008. She survives. Ed was a 1981 graduate of Clinton Central High School.

Visitation and Services

Family and friends are invited to visit from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the First Wesleyan Church, 400 S. 3rd St., Frankfort, IN. Pastor Jeff Lemire will officiate at the funeral at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Crown View Cemetery, Sheridan, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Wesleyan Church.

Survived by:

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by sister, Donna (John) Gedig, Indianapolis, and brother, Louis (Jean) Evans, Frankfort, stepsons Michael and Matthew Barker, step-grandson, Ike Barker, several nieces, nephews, and a great niece and two great nephews.

Preceded by:

Ed was preceded in death by his mother, his brother, Richard, and his niece, Sara Evans.
