Dorothy A. Steidle 90, Marion, IN, died June 19, 2011 at Marion General Hospital, Marion, IN. Born January 9, 1921 in Curtisville, IN to Merrill & Ada G. (McCorkle) Thomas. She married Charles W. Steidle on June 29, 1939 in Alexandria, IN and he preceded her in death on June 15, 2000. Mrs. Steidle was a 1939 graduate of Windfall High School in Windfall, IN. She was a longtime Grant county resident and lived a few years in Madison and Wabash Counties. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Christian Church in Lafontaine, IN.
Visitation and Services
Services will be 12 Noon, Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Goodwin Funeral Home, Frankfort, IN. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kokomo. Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.

5 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Mary Ann Rigsbee and 2 sisters.
R.I.P. Dorothy. Charlie and you gave me my first job job at the A & W Root Beer Stand. You were the Best! I am so blessed to have reconnected with you at Miller’s Manor. Heaven is getting one of the best…Thank you for being a part of who I am today….

I still remember your Mom and Dad in LaFontaine when my folks owned the drug store and Mary Ann and your Mom would babysit for Tom and I. She was always a kind and thoughtful person who loved people.
