Doris Elaine Horan, 86 of Frankfort, IN passed away at 5:15 p.m., Saturday, July 10, 2010 at St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital. Born December 26, 1923 in Beard, Clinton County, Indiana to the late Everett & Alverda (Kingery) Kelly. She married Edward Joseph Horan on December 19, 1943 and he preceded her in death in 1963. In addition to being a homemaker, she had also worked for Deluxe Cleaners in Frankfort and Bolden’s Cleaners in Noblesville. She attended school in Beard before graduating from Frankfort High School in 1941.

Visitation and Services

Services will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, July 13, 2010 from the Goodwin Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow at Whiteman Cemetery, Michigantown, IN. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society, 825 Isaac Walton Dr., Frankfort, IN  46041,  envelopes will be availalbe.

Survived by:

2 Daughters: Vicki Crews of Frankfort, IN and Julia Carlyle of Zionsville, IN 1 Son: Michael Horan of Fishers, IN 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren also survive.

Preceded by:

She was preceded in death by brother, Donald Kelly and sister, Joan Livezey.
