Donna Winger 79, of Frankfort, IN, died February 6, 2013 at Wesley Manor Health and Retirement Community. Born May 21, 1933 in Howard County to Harley & Thelma (Curran) Pulley. She married Elmer E. ‘Gene’ Winger on April 28, 1951 at the First Christian Church and he preceded her in death on January 1, 2003. Mrs. Winger was a 1951 graduate of Frankfort High School. The Winger’s lived in San Diego from 1959-1968 before moving back to Frankfort. She was co-owner/manager of Wall Electric. Donna and Gene originated and operated Hoops Sports Bar. Donna was of the Christian Faith and was a charter member of the Elkettes.

Visitation and Services

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Goodwin Funeral Home. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Relay for Life.

Son: Kenneth (Debra) Winger of Frankfort 2 Daughters: Pamela (Lonnie) Dial of Frankfort and Judi (Jeff) Reecer of Frankfort 1 Brother: Richard (Barbara) Pulley of Bringhurst, IN 1 Sister: Mary Moore of San Diego, CA 11 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Charles, Wilbur and Robert Pulley and a sister, Phyllis Reece.

    I just wanted to thank you for letting my family be part of your family for so many years. You are all lucky to have such a close knit family. I know Donna will be missed, but I also know Gene is smiling big time to have her back with him. Will always have lots of good memories! Love you all!!!!
