Donna Kay King

Donna Kay King, 85, of Franklin, Ind., died April 22, 2024 at Morning Point Senior Living, Franklin, Ind.  She was born April 29, 1938 in Clinton County, Ind. to Kenneth Earl & Vera Mae (Ploughe) King.

Donna was a 1956 graduate of Arsenal Tech High School and attended classes at IUPUI.  She was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Frankfort. She worked as a secretary for I.U. Medical School and General Motors/Allison, retiring from there.  Donna was a member of the Red Hat Society, Magna Charta and D.A.R. and enjoyed fishing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Donna’s honor to the Calvary Baptist Church, 3255 N German Church Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46235.

Visitation and Services

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2024 at Green Lawn Memorial Park with Mary Beth Piland officiating.

Sister: Rosella A. “Rosie” Seay of Indianapolis and Nephew: Kenneth Seay

Preceded by:

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Keith Alan Seay, brother, Larry Joe King and brother-in-law, Robert Lee Seay.

    Very sorry for your loss. My mother lived across the hall from Donna at Morning Pointe for the apast three years. During that time I had the opportunity to have dinner with Donna many times. We talked about many things. She was always pleasant and engaging. She will be missed.

    I’m so sorry for your loss, I loved Donna dearly. She and I had many wonderful memories at Morningpointe. She was diamond in the rough with a heart of gold I still look for her every morning. God bless you Rosie and family
