Delsie D. Brock 90, of Kirklin, IN, died 6:15 p.m. June 20, 2010 at Sheridan Healthcare, Sheridan, IN, where she had lived the past 6 months. Born October 31, 1919 in Edmondson County, KY to Olen and Elsie (Dalton) Embry. She married Walter T. Brock on July 12, 1941 in Stockwell, IN and he preceded her in death on November 7, 1990. Mrs. Brock was a 1938 Lafayette Jeff Graduate. She had lived in Kirklin since 1947 and was a homemaker. Mrs. Brock along with her husband, were owner/operator of Brocks Department Store in Kirklin from 1961-1976. Her memberships include; Kirklin Christian Church, Eastern Star where she was a 50 year member and 1956 Past Matron, Kirklin PM Home Ec. Club, and Jolly Dozen Euchre Club.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 23rd at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 22nd from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home with an Eastern Star Service at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Kirklin Christian Church; 302 E. Jefferson St., Kirklin, IN 46050, envelopes will be available.

2 Sons: Don T. (Rita) Brock and Bill J. (Kathy) Brock both of Kirklin 6 Grandchildren: Davin (Nicole) Brock, DeAnn (Roy II) Scott, JoAnn (Corbin) Unroe, Jannine (Joe) Rule, Allen Brock and Lisa (Randy) Weaver 11 Great Grandchildren
