David L. Lane Sr.

David L. Lane Sr. 73 of Frankfort, IN, died at 7:20 p.m. July 21, 2010 at his home, surrounded by his family. Born October 15, 1936 in Lafayette, IN to the late Harold and Jewel (Owens) Lane. He married Janet Haslet Timmons on June 3, 1977 in Manson and she survives. Mr. Lane attended school in Jefferson and grew up in Mulberry. He was a sheet metal worker at the Local 20 Lafayette for 20 years and then was a truck driver for 20 years, last working for Bailey Trucking. Mr. Lane attended Eagle Harvest Church. He enjoyed going to the Lake Freeman with his kids and grandkids, boating and motorcycle riding especially, Gold Wings.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, July 23rd 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be Green Lawn Memorial Park. Donations may be made to Guardian Angel Hospice or Clinton County Cancer Fund, envelopes will be available.

Son: David (Cheri) Lane Jr. of West Lafayette Step Daughter: Teresa (Brian) Leach of Frankfort Step Son: Mark Timmons of Frankfort 3 Sisters: Evelyn Lane of Mulberry, Catherine (Jim) Tschaenn of Dayton and Nola (Junior) Tull of Rossville Brother: Richard Lane of Lafayette 7 Grandchildren: Amy Salinas, Chuck Dean, Lindsey Like, Brandon Leach, Whitney Leach, Chyna Lane and Carolyn Lane 6 Great Grandchildren: Zach Weaver, Lydia Weaver, Brianna Salinas, Tyler Like, Morgan Dean and Michael Lane

Preceded in death by son, Brad Lane, step daughter, Cheryl Morgan and 3 brothers.
