Aunt Darel could make anyone love bananas with her “Banana Salad” she always made at the family reunions. She mixed it fresh right before serving and I would watch her every year so I would know how to make it. She would also help the new comers to the family, learn cards and she would sit you right down beside her so she could help you when you needed it. She was kind, loving, soft spoken and firm in her beliefs. What a wonderful woman. She will be dearly missed. With all our Love, Don and Deb

Oh, Aunt Darel! I’ll miss hearing you and your sister, my grandma Thelma, trade stories and laugh so hard your sides would split. The teasing and love you shared for so so many years made the world a better place. I love you and miss you.
