Charles F. Shepard 80 of Frankfort, IN, died at 11:35 p.m. October 18, 2010 at Wesley Manor Retirement Center. He was born March 4, 1930 in Frankfort, IN. Parents whom preceded him in death, Father, Cecil F. Shepard, Step Father and Mother, James Walt and Eulalia (Bennett) Thompson. He married Claribel Pauley and they later divorced. He then married Opal V. Faucett on October 4, 1976 in Nashville, TN and she preceded him in death on May 19, 2010. Mr. Shepard was a graduate of Frankfort High School and a lifelong Frankfort resident. He was a switchman for Norfolk & Southern Railroad, retiring in 1989. His memberships include; East Side Christian Church, Moose Lodge and the Frankfort Country Club.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until time of the service on Saturday. Shan Sheridan will officiate. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Wesley Manor Good Samaritan Fund, envelopes will be available.

2 Daughters: Carol Albaugh of Indianapolis and Christy (Greg) Unger of Michigantown 2 Sons: Chuck (Connie) Shepard of rural Frankfort and Craig (Sharon) Shepard of Cornell, Wisconsin 2 Step Daughters: Judy (Larry) Calloway of rural Frankfort and Candice Bell of Windermere, FL 17 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Shepard.
