I was so saddened by the news of your Mom passing away. She was the most wonderful person, a great Mom and a very good friend. I remembered how she welcomed me into her home years ago when I dated Johnny in high school and made me feel like part of the family. I met up with her again when I worked at Val Department Store and the friendship came back to life like we had never been apart. I will always remember her….a great loving lady who would always give you a hug. She will be missed…she made this world a better place.

Facebook Twitter GoogleTo the family of Bertha Sanders: It is always sad to lose a very dear member of the family. It causes so much sorrow. It is my hope as a volunteer to bring to the family a comforting thought. In the Bible book of John 11:11,14, Jesus likens death to sleep. Thinking of our loved ones as in a deep sleep can bring us peace of mind and heart. Further words of Jesus point to a happy future for our loved ones. He says at John 5:28,29: “Do not marvel at this, because all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out…” Yes, there is true hope for an awakening from this sleep. What a wonderful promise and sure future for those asleep in death. We wish to express our deepest sympathy to all the family.
