Arthur “AJ” Peterson

Arthur “AJ” Peterson, 42, of Etna Green, Ind., died Monday, April 12, 2021 in his home.  He was born on March 27, 1979 in Albany, Ind. to Fred Auterson and Pamela Kolawole and was adopted on March 23, 1991 by Curtis and Janet Peterson.

AJ grew up in Frankfort.  He attended Frankfort schools and later earned his GED.  He was a truck driver for Tyson Foods and had worked for Warsaw Chemical.  He attended Faith Family Ministries in Frankfort and enjoyed his kids, riding his Harley, playing guitar, and cooking.  AJ had a heart of gold and would help anyone at any time.

Memorial Services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort. Pastor Mark Mowery will officiate. Friends may visit from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Frankfort. Following the burial, all family and friends are invited to a dinner and time of fellowship at “THE OLD GRAY BARN” 6600 N. CR 0 EW. Frankfort, IN. Out of respect for the health, safety, and comfort of all in attendance, guests will be expected to adhere to current CDC guidelines regarding appropriate social distancing and the wearing of masks. Memorial Donations may be made to Goodwin Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.

Father: Curtis Peterson of Rossville, Biological Parents: Fred Auterson and Pamela Kolawole, Daughters: Josie Peterson of Killeen, TX, Katelin Peterson of Killeen, TX, Nevaeh Louk of Frankfort, Emily Louk of Frankfort, Son: Arthur Bebee/Peterson of Frankfort, Sisters: Shelley (Jordan) Mitchell of Frankfort, Hope (Vincent) Redinger of Etna Green, IN, Brother: Glen (Valerie) Auterson of Bourbon, IN and several Nieces and Nephews.

his mother, Janet Peterson and niece, Miracle Chester.

    I miss my “son”. Talking to him always brought me laughter. Now thinking that he’s gone just brings tears and leaves a hole in my heart. He always called me Mama and I miss hearing his voice.

    I don’t live in Indiana anymore and Judy found out AJ passed. He was in choir with me and school for years. I’m so sorry for your loss. He was always so sweet and funny and will be missed.
