Matthew A. Marley died at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis as a result of a vehicle accident in Tipton County on June 5, 2023, at the age of 57. Matt was born to Herbert and Patricia (Gunyon) Marley on February 4, 1966 in Frankfort; he was one of four siblings. He graduated from Frankfort High School and began his career as a truck driver soon after.
Matt married Amber Foust on December 30, 2004, and she survives. They have 4 children. Matt was a life-long resident of Clinton County and an auxiliary member of the Frankfort VFW where he enjoyed drinking coffee with friends. He is remembered for his love of the Cubs, riding motorcycles, and bird watching.
Visitation and Services
Per the family’s wishes, no services will be held. The family asks that any wishing to show support consider donating to the Frankfort VFW. Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S Main St, Frankfort and Clinton County Crematory are honored to assist the Marley Family.

In addition to his wife, Matt will be remembered by many, including four children: Trinity Marley of Crawfordsville, Dylan Disinger of Tuscon, AZ, Austin Disinger of West Lafayette, and Ella Marley of Rossville. Matt had four grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers: John (Brenda) Marley of Russiaville, and Chuck Marley.

Matt was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sister Kathy (Marley) Platt.

He always said I was the reason for him coming in the office. We always laughed about that. It’s because I wouldn’t take any slack from him. He and his wife were always nice people. So sad to hear of the news of his passing. Praying for his wife and family.
