Charles Hampton, 86, of Frankfort, died October 9, 2018 at Clinton House. He was born October 16, 1931 in Lapel, Indiana to Reuben & Edith (Scott) Hampton. He married Nelda Ruth Baker on April 27, 1957 in Noblesville and she survives. Mr. Hampton was a roofer. He attended the Bethel Bible Holiness Church. Charles enjoyed fishing, trapping and gardening and he loved animals.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Friday, October 12, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society.

Wife: Nelda R. Hampton of Frankfort, 2 Daughters: Carol (Michael) Evans of Frankfort and Sheilah Rex of Kokomo, 2 Granddaughters: Amanda (Marcus) Herrington of Sheridan and Jessica Rex of Kokomo, 6 Great Grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Robert & Ralph Hampton and a sister, Mary Lou Eli.
