Zora Ruth Stanton, 91, of Westfield, died at 8:20 p.m. February 15, 2017 at Riverview Hospital, Noblesville, Ind. Born August 6, 1925 in Clinton County to Manford Forest & Hazel Ruth (Hillis) Snodgrass.  She married Hansel E. “Chub” Stanton on October 26, 1941 and he preceded her in death on May 18, 1982.

Zora attended Forest High School.  She had worked at Mallory Controls.  Zora was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Frankfort, IN. She enjoyed sewing and did alterations in town.  Zora loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2017 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the funeral home. Kevin Alber will officiate. Entombment will be in Green Lawn Mausoleum. Memorial donations may be made to Grace Baptist Church.

Survived by:

Daughter: Peggy C. Denison of Westfield, Ind., Son: Phillip D. (wife Janet) Stanton of Frankfort, Ind., 3 grandchildren, Matthew D. (wife Katrina) Denison, Paige (husband Ben) Linger and Micah Drew (wife Sara) Stanton and 6 great grandchildren.

Preceded by:

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 4 brothers.

    She was like a sister to me and a second Mom to Sharon. She will be deeply missed and our prayers are with your family. Wish we could be there to comfort you. Love to all.
